Aside from drawing as a youngster, photography continues to be a passion. Perhaps the most interesting project that wasn't work related was photographing bands. Using the knowledge from Santa Monica College photography classes (James Ruebsamen) and experience through shooting for the college newspaper, The Corsair and later the Palisadian Post Newspaper, I photographed live music acts from around 1989-1995. I "lost" the negatives for about 20 years and am now in the process of sorting them out. I released two zines, From the Pit and From the Pit II and had a small exhibition at Balconi Coffee Company.
